Short biography

Robin Winters builds native iOS software at ShowFlex, a shipped iPhone fitness product. Robin’s work spans Swift, SwiftUI, MapKit event discovery and Firebase-backed data, alongside applied AI prototypes and a background in AI product delivery at Yukon Systems.

Extended biography

Robin Winters is an iOS/Full Stack Engineer at ShowFlex, 2024–present, working across Swift and SwiftUI engineering, mobile architecture, MapKit event discovery, Firebase-backed data and interaction quality. ShowFlex is available on the iPhone App Store; its company page names Robin under Engineering. Previously, Robin was Product Development Manager at Yukon Systems, 2023–2025, and built TORos for Yukon: a prototype, model-agnostic, multimodal decision engine using deliberation among multiple models to reach consensus. Robin publishes technical writing about native Apple interfaces, applied AI and fitness technology. Public educational code includes a Swift request-ownership example and a fitness-event normalization package. These assistant-supported examples are distinct from private product source. Robin also holds NASM-CPT, NASM Certified Nutritionist and NASM Physique and Bodybuilding Coach credentials.

Proposed talk topics

Who owns a SwiftUI search request

An asynchronous controller and its UI adapter have separate ownership boundaries. This proposed code-led session examines obsolete completions, cancellation and selection using the public synthetic search example. Seven controller tests and four executable adapter checks passed on macOS; partial simulator captures show search and selection. The remaining UI checks are identified in the demo documentation.

Making fitness event data inspectable

This proposed walkthrough follows a synthetic event fixture through normalization and explicit receipts, then compares the package’s public macOS and Linux execution evidence. Twelve Swift Testing checks pass on each tested toolchain, including Swift 6.0.3. The example addresses data contracts rather than claiming product-wide correctness or customer deployment.

Deliberation in a multi-model decision prototype

This proposed design discussion introduces TORos at Yukon Systems and separates model consensus from factual correctness. The public company article describes the prototype; Robin’s build contribution is first-person confirmed. Public source, development dates, collaborator credits and measured results remain unresolved, so this is a design discussion rather than a reproducible product demonstration.
